VIKTR DevTools

From developer tools to an experimental software lab.

Viktr DevTools originally started as a collection of browser-based utilities created for developers. Over time, it has evolved into a broader experimental platform where new ideas, interfaces and practical tools can be built, tested and explored.

Some tools remain focused on software development, while others are designed for more general use or may eventually become part of Viktr Software products and services.

A growing collection of specialised tools

Viktr DevTools is not limited to a single category of software. Each application explores a specific problem or workflow while sharing the same lightweight browser-based environment.

DB Designer

Visual database modelling, table design, indexes, DDL generation and reverse engineering.

Flow Editor

Build and organise application logic through visual flows, conditions and execution paths.

Mind Charts

Structure ideas, systems and project concepts through connected visual diagrams.

File Tools

Explore and manipulate project resources using browser-based tools and filesystem capabilities.

CSS Tools

Utilities for inspecting, organising, transforming and maintaining CSS.

JavaScript Tools

Utilities for analysing, formatting and reorganising JavaScript code and structures.

Experimental by design

DevTools is also a development laboratory. Some applications exist to test concepts, interfaces or workflows before they are considered for use elsewhere.

Tools may change significantly, be replaced or disappear as the project evolves.

Not only for developers

Although the project began around software development, its scope has expanded. Some tools can be useful to designers, technical users, businesses or anyone who needs the functionality they provide.

Independent applications

Each tool is developed as its own application. This allows individual tools to evolve independently without turning DevTools into one enormous application with seventeen menus hiding behind another seventeen menus.

Future integration

Concepts and components developed here may eventually be incorporated into Viktr Software products, internal systems or future services when they prove useful enough.

Free to use, provided as-is

The tools currently available through Viktr DevTools are free to use and are provided as-is, without warranties or guarantees of any kind. Features may be experimental, incomplete or subject to change.

Use of these tools, including any data entered, generated or processed by them, is entirely at the user's own discretion and risk.

Viktr Software

Viktr Software develops practical software, automation systems and technical tools, with DevTools serving as one of the environments where new concepts can be explored.
